Support for Students with Disabilities

Research has demonstrated that accommodations and support services are critical for students with disabilities to succeed academically. We therefore ensure that students understand how to secure and implement accommodations such as extended test time and taking tests in a separate, quiet location.  We also make sure that students are using any assistive technologies that could be beneficial to them (such as smart pens, text-to-speech software, and note taking apps) and provide them with any necessary training to ensure that they are comfortable with using the tools.
